  9. MICRONET INTRODUCES FIFTEEN HARD DISK DRIVES FOR THE NEW MACINTOSH IIfx

  11. Irvine, CA--March 21, 1990--MicroNet Technology has released a series of
  12. internal and external hard disk drives that are compatible with the new
  13. Macintosh IIfx and System 6.0.5.  The formatted capacities of these new systems
  14. range from 20 MBytes to 1,011 MBytes and come with an average access as fast as
  15. 10.7 ms.

  17. A series of 3.5" internal systems are offered that are developed around
  18. Seagate, Maxtor and Conner hard disk drives with capacities of 20, 30, 40,
  19. 46,100 and 200 MBytes, with average access time as fast as 15 ms.  The retail
  20. price of the 3.5" series range from $545.00 for the 20 MByte to $2,195.00 for
  21. the 200 MByte systems.

  23. High performance, 5.25" internal and external half-height systems are offered
  24. that are based on MacWren V and VI hard disk drives, manufactured by
  25. Seagate/Imprimis Technology, with formatted capacities of 62, 80, 105, 173 and
  26. 423 MB and average access times as fast as 16 ms.  The retail price of the
  27. 5.25" half-height series range from $895.00 for the 105 MByte to $4,195.00 for
  28. the 423 MByte storage system.

  30. For the very best performance MicroNet offers 5.25" internal and external
  31. full-height MacWren hard disk drives with formatted capacities of 292, 321, 587
  32. and 1,011 MBytes with average access as fast as 10.7 ms.  "MacWren hard disk

  35. the MacWren drives, especially when coupled with a fast CPU like the Macintosh

  38. twice as fast with one our full-height drives than with a 3.5" drive".  "We at

  40. drives". The retail price for the full height drives range from $2795.00 for
  41. the 292 MByte to $8,295.00 for the 1,011 MByte system and are sold through a
  42. worldwide dealer and distributor network.
